of the two-room, 800-square-foot concrete-floored structure. Eating,
drinking, and socializing takes place on one side of the wall; everyone
sleeps in the room on the other side.
You can see more of Richard Lindekens’ spectacular photographs
at the Elverhoj Museum in Solvang (elverhoj.org/exhibits) beginning
August 1 and running through October 18 (2015). The exhibit, entitled
“Traditions on the Edge,” were taken by Lindekens of the eagle hunters
in Mongolia and includes more recent photos of the traditional Chin
peoples of Myanmar with whom he has worked since 2009.

RESTRAIN THE PREY WITHOUT HARMING IT.
