He may have been “hooked,” but it is his unerring
eye for composition and content, his willingness
– and ability – to suffer the inconveniences of
turbulent 14-hour rides on outdated airplanes, and
long and cold trips in vintage Russian-made bare-
bones utility vehicles through barren landscapes
that hooks his growing list of admirers.
Oh, and all this while receiving treatment for cancer
in Los Angeles; treatment that he barely speaks of.
Lindekens is a member of the Channel City
Camera Club and Santa Ynez Valley Camera Club,
and recently won first place at the Wildling Art
Museum photo competition. Two of his bald eagle
photos hang on a wall in the Department of the
Interior in Washington, D.C.
