n 1977, Carole and Mike Ridding, owners of Montecito’s internationally renowned jeweler, Silverhorn, launched their first
shop in Banff, Canada. A little more than seven years later (1985), they opened a U.S. “branch” on Coast Village Road, in a
1,200-square-foot shop on the lower level of the 3,600-square-foot building they now fully occupy.
